Dental Implants in Wellingborough

Dental implants are the most effective way to replace missing teeth permanently, giving you back a natural-looking, fully functioning smile. Implants are placed in-house by our own implantologist, using the Nobel Biocare Implant system - one of the most established and reliable systems in implant dentistry.

A dental implant is a small titanium fixture placed into the jawbone to replace the root of a missing tooth, providing a stable foundation for a crown, bridge or denture. Implants are placed under local anaesthetic, and for most patients the procedure is straightforward and comfortable.

Every implant journey starts with a private consultation, where we assess your suitability and talk through timelines and cost. Please note dental implant treatment is rarely covered by private medical insurance, so we're always upfront about pricing before you commit.

How Dental Implant Treatment Works

Dental implant treatment involves inserting a titanium fixture into the jawbone, which is later used to support a denture, crown or fixed bridge. Following insertion, the implant is left for 3 to 4 months while osseointegration takes place - the process by which the jawbone gradually grows around and fuses with the implant.

Once integration is complete, our specialist in restorative dentistry, Mr Siddiqui, fits your permanent restoration - a fixed crown, fixed bridge, or specialist denture, custom-made to match your natural teeth.
